Well, we all know things have been slow around here in terms of updates. Maybe I was trying to figure out why, maybe I already knew and I just didn't want to face the actuality, but here's the scoop: right now, my life is kinda crappy. We all know about the incident where I lost my job because some doofus manager decided I was getting paid too much, but of course gave it a flimsy mask of "lack of productivity". Bottom line, I need a new job. Of course, the newest development I haven't divulged to you guys yet is that now, some doofus cop pulled me over on the night of St. Patty's Day, accusing me of driving drunk and stoned. Apparently he decided I didn't meet his own behavioral criteria, which clearly means there's a problem. Mind you, I have the results of a drug test that state I'm totally clean, but thanks to some ugly politics they're not just gonna drop my case, so I'm having to drop $4,000 on legal aid.

So to summarize: some people weren't spanked enough as a kid, and I'm dealing with the consequences. And while I'd really love the contrary to be the case, Punk-Pink! isn't paying those bills. What this means is that I'm going to have to let the comics suffer the consequences while I work on fixing the mess other people made of my life.

I'm really sorry to be making this big emo rant on you guys, but I want you to realize that I'm not neglecting Punk-Pink! because I don't care, I'm just facing some hard times right now and I need time to recover. And I'll still be putting out the Punks, just more slowly right now.

There is some good news, though: remember that big announcement I was talking about a while back? Well, Punk-Pink.com went live! This will be the official site for Punk-Pink! from now on; and once I'm back in full swing, I'll be working towards building my own community for Punk-Pink! Of course, for those of you who are used to Drunk Duck, don't worry; this is one of the two mirrors I'm choosing to keep (The other one being Maple Syrup Comics.) Anyway, stay in tune; hopefully things'll turn around for me and the Punks soon.
