Panel 1. Another Angle. NICK, in obvious shock, is yelling at his reflection in the mirror, and staring at the fragment of the Quantum Sphere lodged in his forehead.
NICK: JESUS!

NICK: LOOKS LIKE SOMEONE WENT AFTER MY HEAD WITH A RAILROAD TIE.

Panel 2. Zoom in. NICK is examining himself and the “rock” imbedded in his forehead, looking fairly awestruck.

NICK (Thought): FUNNY. PAIN’S GONE NOW. IT SHOULD HURT LIKE HELL.

NICK (Thought): HELL, I SHOULD BE DEAD.

Panel 3. Medium Shot. NICK is in the center of his bathroom, contemplating what to do.

NICK (Thought): OK, JUST CALM DOWN, NICK.

NICK (Thought): MAYBE IT JUST LOOKS WORSE THAN IT IS…

NICK: …EITHER WAY I SHOULD GET TO A–

Panel 4. Same Angle. NICK has suddenly disappeared, leaving his trademark energy signature.

SFX (NICK vanishing):vvvVVIP!!

Panel 5. Same Angle. NICK has reappeared smack-dab in the middle of an emergency waiting room. Surrounding him are various doctors, nurses, and patients, some of whom have witnessed his sudden arrival, including a little boy.

SFX (NICK reappearing):vvvVVIP!

NICK: –HOSPITAL.
