PAGE TWENTY (Five Panels)

Panel 1. Zoom in. NICK, who by this time has had quite enough, stands up in defiance to his Nazi persecutor.

NICK (burst): I’VE HAD IT WITH BEING PUSHED AROUND TODAY, PAL!

NICK: YOU HIT ME WITH THAT RIFLE AGAIN, I’M GONNA SHOVE IT UP YOUR ASS!

SOLDIER #1: ENGLISH, EH?

SOLDIER #1: FINE–

SFX (Rifles cocking): KLAKITTAKLAKITTAKLACK!!

Panel 2. Wide Shot. The Nazi soldiers, including the commander, have all taken a position surrounding NICK. Each of them has their rifle leveled on NICK, ready to fire. NICK’S confidence is waning.

SOLDIER #1: PLEASE TO TELL ME, ENGLISHMAN, WHERE IS YOUR TRAITOR FRIEND, DOKTOR STOLTZ?

SOLDIER #1: YOU HAVE FIVE SECONDS TO TELL ME, OR WE OPEN FIRE.

Panel 3. Close Shot. NICK and the commander are staring each other down. The soldier’s eyes, cool and focused, while NICK’S are agitated and rattled.

SOLDIER #1: DON’T FEEL LIKE TALKING?

SOLDIER #1: FINE, KILL HIM.

Panel 4. Medium shot. The Nazis have all opened fire on NICK’S position. NICK, however has disappeared, only to reappear a safe distance away.

SFX (Rifles firing): KRAAKAOOM!!!

SFX (NICK vanishing):vvvVVIP!!

SFX (NICK reappearing):vvvVVIP!!

Panel 5. Same Angle. The Nazis, and their commander, have all taken lethal shots in the head, chest, etc., and are now dying with very shocked looks on their faces. NICK is lunging towards the commander.

SFX (bullets hitting): Paf! Paf! Paff!

SOLDIER #1: ACH!! WAS–?

SOLDIER #3: GOTT–

NICK: NOW–
