Panel 1. Medium Shot. NICK tackles the Nazi commander, who is now screaming in pain and dying.
NICK: ALRIGHT, DAMMIT…
Panel 2. Another Angle. NICK is mercilessly pummeling the Nazi commander into submission, cursing him with every breath.
NICK: DON’T!
NICK: YOU!
NICK: EVER–
Panel 3. Zoom in. The commander quickly expires, leaving NICK to notice the soldier’s firearm, lying beside him.
NICK: * hih *
NICK: * hih *
Panel 4. Medium Shot. NICK, grim and rising to his feet, picks up the Uzi.
Panel 5. Wide Shot. NICK leaves the area he arrived in, scouting the surrounding area. In the distance he sees another squadron dragging another prisoner, presumably for interrogation.
NICK (thought): WHAT THE HELL WAS ALL THAT? SINCE WHEN IS THE NAZI PARTY BACK IN POWER…
NICK (thought): …AND WHAT THE HELL HIT THIS PLACE?
Panel 6. Medium Shot. NICK has taken cover near a wall, and is watching the Nazis prepare the prisoner for what appears to be an execution similar to NICK’S. Two soldiers are holding the prisoner, who is barely conscious. So far the prisoner’s face is obscured in shadow. The squadron chief has a pistol held up to the prisoners head, and is yelling at him.
SOLDIER #4 (burst): BETRUG!!
SOLDIER #4 (burst): JETZT BEZAHLUNG FÃœR IHRE SINS GEGEN DAS FUHRER!
Panel 7. Zoom in further to establish that it’s STOLTZ still in his lab coat, but his shirt is torn open. He is beaten and bloodied. We can see his face clearly, but his chest is obscured to us. The Nazi chief is taunting STOLTZ with the pistol.
SOLDIER #4: SIE HABEN BROUGH SCHANDE ZUM REICH, STOLTZ.
Panel 8. Zoom in closer. It is now evident that STOLTZ has a large Quantum fragment embedded in the center of his chest.
