PAGE SIXTEEN (Four Panels). Page Summary: NICK and STOLTZ arrive in BILLY’S TIMELINE. STOLTZ severely shocked at what is happening to him. NICK is fazed a little less by the experience now, adjusting. Give brief tour to establish what exactly has happened to BILLY’S era. We see signs with multiple mushroom clouds on major cities with the words “Never forget.”

Panel 1. Medium Shot. Both men are spit out of a wormhole and deposited into BILLY’S world, which, at first, appears as a regular run-down street corner. Night is falling, and we see some of the neighborhood, including a bookstore.

SFX (Both men materializing):FWASSSHH!

NICK: OOF!

STOLTZ: OOHHH!

SFX (Both men landing):THUD!

NICK: UHH…

Panel 2. Zoom in. NICK harasses a puking STOLTZ for getting him into this whole thing. Around them, we see BILLY’S town and timeline, which is dread and depressing, building into more of a post-80’s-apocalyptic thing.

NICK: OWWWW…

STOLTZ: OH–

STOLTZ: –MEIN GOTT…

SFX (STOLTZ puking):BBBLLLLEEEEEAAAAUUURRGGGGHHHH!!

NICK: SEE…

Panel 3. Another Angle. NICK chastises STOLTZ as they both try to recover their bearings.

NICK: THAT’S WHAT IT FEELS LIKE TO BE SQEEZED BETWEEN DIMENSIONS.

NICK: OH, AND, BY THE WAY. OW! ASSHOLE!

STOLTZ: *cough*

Panel 4. Tight Shot. NICK is wide-eyed as he points out to STOLTZ something he sees before them.

NICK: HEY…

NICK: …CHECK THIS OUT.
