Panel 1. Close Shot. Skyler is astonished to see the all too familiar gem, clutching at her own.

SKYLER: THAT’S—

SKYLER: THAT’S…

NICK: YEAH, I KNOW, THE BANE OF MY EXISTENCE.

NICK: YOU GET USED TO IT.

Panel 2. Worms-eye Shot. Stoltz and Billy have caught up. Billy is ribbing Nick and Skyler for being in a beanbag together. They do actually look pretty comfortable and perhaps a little embarrassed.

BILLY: HEY, YOU TWO. YOU OK.

BILLY: LOOKS COZY.

Panel 3. Wide Shot. Stoltz entreats Skyler as he and Billy show her their respective fragments of Quantum.

STOLTZ: FORGIVE US, MY DEAR, BUT I BELIEVE WE CAN EXPLAIN WHAT’S GOING ON.

STOLTZ: BUT WE SHOULD FIND A MORE APPROPRIATE PLACE TO DISCUSS IT, DON’T YOU THINK?

Panel 4. Medium Shot. Skyler ushers them all away from a growing unruly crowd. Skyler’s two burly, thug-twin bodyguards attend to her.

SKYLER: JESUS! AND IN THE MIDDLE OF A SHOW.

SKYLER: JUST WHAT I FUCKING NEED.

SKYLER: COME ON!

Panel 5. Another Angle. The Heroes seek the refuge of backstage.
