Author notes
Originally from here: http://archiloquy.wordpress.com/2011/12/25/so-its-been-a-year But I figure I'mma post this one here as well. This strip is a celebration of Quickening's first birthday! What better way to celebrate than karaoke? (… I like karaoke >.>) (I'll just, er, copy-paste what I typed in the original entry, for, you know, consistency.) Yep, Tony sang Kimi ga Suki dato Sakebitai ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gzvS3gjsuZg ), the opening song from Slam Dunk. And Cain chose to sing this ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XJRsuBSkQTk ). It is a very ambitious song to sing and he sang it like a god. Never mind the fact that he has never heard of the song before. XD Aimiff sang – because she is a troll – this particular song ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QH2-TGUlwu4 ), which garnered curious stares from the three. And Yvette adamantly refused to sing because she was embarrassed, with Cain and Aimiff being there. But after much persuading and coaxing and Cain’s disbelievingly effective pleading, Yvette begrudgingly sang this song ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x6QA3m58DQw ), in monotone. (Note that she deliberately picked that song just to spite them.)
