There is a scene in CLASS 3 that I mournfully had to scrap.
This is that deleted scene.
As a token of gratitude to you, my dear readers, I present to you: CLASS 3.5, or, Professor Neruda Proclaims His Civil Status.
Notes for CLASS 3.5:
Originally this scene is supposed to be in CLASS 3, where Professor Neruda makes his debut. But due to space constraints, I had to scrap this one. Actually, I had to delete a lot of scenes in Volume 1, including this one, sadly (Yuriy's first appearance is another). That's why Neruda appeared in the omake pages you read after every chapter.
This particular scene was inspired by real life, apparently. When I was a wee junior college student, one of my seniors talked about their Media Law professor, who was handsome. Or so she said, and others said. In their first day of class, this handsome Media Law professor introduced himself – as customary for first day classes – but the clincher was that at the end of his introduction, he added, "I'm single." And the entire female population of that class erupted into fangirl squeals.
Of course, me, being me, tried to pin down this handsome Media Law professor and see if he really was handsome. But, alas, we never did cross paths, and I never had the chance to verify this claim.

P.S.: I do not understand why Professor Neruda had to tell that to a bunch of high school students. College students, I can still understand, but high school students? :O
