Rules. Follow them.
Each player must rise through the perils and League of Unova and become the Champion following these rules…
+For
every area you encounter with the potential to capture a pokemon, you
are only allowed to capture the first Pokemon you battle.
+Both Teams are allowed ONE egg trade outside of their game. Doesn’t apply to evolution means.
+ For routes with Secret Grottos, you are allowed to capture one pokemon per route OR one pokemon per Grotto.
+You are not allowed to use DLC pokemon (pokemon attained from mystry gift, the Dream Radar, or Pokemon Online.)
If
a pokemon faints under any condition, you must either release it OR
deposit it into a Graveyard Box never to be used again, for battle OR
for HM use.
+ Exception: Fainting in the Battle Subway or other battle facility does not give way to 'permadeath'.
+If a Shiny is encountered at any point, all rules in pertinence to capturing Pokemon (excepting DLC) are null and void.
+The only items you may buy with your earnings are Pokeballs. All others must be found in the field.
+Legendaries are PROHIBITED in battle, and therefore should be defeated on sight.
+Game will be played in challenge mode.
+Each Pokemon must be given a Nickname. Becuz you luv them.
