During the war with the invading Zentreadi it was revealed that they were a race of clones bred for warfare and were cloned at human size and then grown to giant size in a sizing chamber. A Zentreadi could be shrunk back to human size so as to infiltrate enemy bases. As it is Miriya Parino was the Zentreadi's greatest Ace pilot, defeated by no one…until she was beaten (just barely) by Max Sterling. She then had herself shrunk to human size to infiltrate the SDF-1 and assassinate him. Her second challenge was with an arcade game (shown) and she was beaten yet again. Agreeing to a date with Max she attacked him at their rendevous point and after a fierce knife fight Max was triumphant again. Begging to be executed to spare her shame she instead was shown love by Max and agreed to be his wife. She became a loyal member of the RDF. And now they are having a friendly rematch.
