This was actually one of the first comics I had planned for this chapter. The thing with Baku was something I knew I wanted into this storyline.
I think the reason I like this comic so much is that now you can re-read the entire chapter, and know that every action from every person was a role being played. Everything was being followed to Gouto's specifications.
Except Baku. Baku was the only character in this chapter who was just being himself with no knowledge of any secret plans. Baku was just being Baku.
Which to me makes his appearances in this chapter much funnier.
Gouto must have a lot of time on his hands to come up with these insane loyalty tests. Remember when he sent Baku out to get killed? Good times…
