I tried to make Hua Po look as stoic as possible in her pose here. I thought maybe if people saw she's not really all that broken up about it, people wouldn't feel bad. For some reason the term "summoner-in-law" just had me laughing. It does make me wonder if a demon is owned by a summoner and they get married…does their spouse become that summoner's demon? It's an interesting thought. Stuff like this is why I love writing this series.
