Ah, here we go. Let's talk about Bourbon~ All this stuff is revealed much later in the story but I really don't think it'd hurt you to know some of it now. :D

Bourbon was a pretty late introduction to the story - along with Honey - as a character who I didn't originally plan to have in but ended up becoming someone very integral to the main plotline…

Basically he's a famous TV soap actor (even Turps recognises him from the photo in Bub's wallet - which is saying something about his status), who plays a very popular, very straight, character named Pepper. He's sorta a tweenager pinup who gets mobbed by girls wherever he goes… and very much enjoys it. X3 The only thing is he's extremely paranoid of how the public would react if he did "come out" and so has built up a very masculine public image to hide the fact… and as such Bubblegum is the only person who actually knows the truth about his sexuality. Him and Bub absolutely adore each other - you can see it in the flashbacks in the last chapter - it's just hiding their relationship and now with the added pressure of it being long-distance that's tearing them apart…

And I'll stop there so I don't drop any spoilers. :)

I like this page… you can see Bourbon's lost a bit of his bravado now and Bub… well, he's always like that. XD *petpet*
