As a parent, you should know there's always a routine, template, or fixed framework that your kids would always use to get you to do exactly what they want you to, or alternatively let them get away with something.

It's just the way it is. You did it to your parents, they're going to do it to you, simple.

One of the things that come with having to grow up around someone that cares for you is that you do know exactly which buttons to press and when. Tricky bit is to know when it stops being cute and becomes plain annoying, thus eventually granting you the opposite reaction to the one you were hoping for.

I'm pretty sure I'm already there with my boys.
