OH-ME-FE-GEE!! PENCILS!! WHY?!!!

1. It's a (old) Megatokyo spoof so i thought it was appropriate
2. I wanted to try something new
3. My pens are running out

Well the pencils look good whatever it is. It's actually a lot more time consuming than the inks. I'm sure anyone whos seen me wield a pencil would know how smudgy my drawings are. Took me ages of erasing sharpening and re-drawing to get rid of the smudgyness. The scanner also doesn't do justice to my shading. I'm not doing that again in a while.

Anyway the humour in this is pretty subtle. I lead you to this strip so you non Megatokyo readers will get it. I know it's an incredibly old strip, but I've just started reading 'tokyo and It's freaking good. I mean I'm not much of a manga dude but still…

Megatokyo references aside it's a your mom joke! Me and my friends usuallt do this when someone asks a question, eg "where are we?-in your mom" "what are we doing here-were doing your mom" "you're really driving nuts-thats what your mom said last night"

Sometimes I do find it funny, sometimes it gets unbelievebly annoying, not to mention lame.

Finally, check out what Tantz Aerine did for me!! It's a drawing based on the song hurt by Nine Inch Nails, which was later covered by Johnny Cash. Since it's a trade off I'll have to draw her something. No Idea what she wants it to be, but knowing myself, it'll be good.
