Each year Fussa city Tokyo has it's Tanabata festival, for some spooky strange reason, this festival always falls on the hottest days of the year. Even though the festivals are mainly held at night… the heat does not let up. Now this festival is one of the biggest (spred out over a large area) in Tokyo. Although Fussa is not concidered a big city, the festival is. Most of the city from the back side of Fussa station to the city hall, and every back and side road in between is closed to car trafic, and open for the fesstival vendors, games, and millions of people. I have not gone to one in over 5 years or so… I hate heat, and I can't stand all the mindless people who seem to gather at this kind of occation. Not to mention that I'm usually working…
