Happy Valentine's day one and all…. To include all the men in Asia!!!!
Yes folks in Asia, Valentine's day is when women give men gifts… ONLY!!!
It was so lopsided that they created a new holiday for the men to give women in their lives gifts one month later… White Day .

This is why I threw in the Christmas blurb… I think it is odd how things are so different here, and yet the same…

While dating my wife, and quite fresh to Japan, I gave her chocolate on Valentine's day… She did not get (visually) angry as she enjoyed the surprise… but, I know deep down inside she was not too pleased. Not to mention this is when I found out, after spending about $30 US, that she does not like chocolate…

Have a great weekend, and with the economy the way it is, give the ones you love a hug instead of candy.. it will make them feel good, and it won't go straight to their hips, or love handles!!!
