This storyline was inspired by a buddy of mine who recently began dating via the internet. Although he has done very well from a numbers and conquest standpoint, he has not done well from a quality standpoint. After one girl left him 47 text messages after the first date and he refused to show me pictures of several others, I developed my theory that became the punch line of this strip.

The story line will stray quite a bit from his experiences (although they’d make an interesting series in their own right, but may be a bit too risqué for this strip).
