This may not be my favorite gag in the storyline but I wanted to try some stuff with the pictures from past strips in the thought bubbles. I know the text is kind of hard to read, but I had to size them to get them to fit.

The whole idea stemmed from a girl I used to date in college. She was an athiest, but used to observe Lent. It was more a mind over matter thing, than a religious thing. But when I first met her she gave up soda for Lent and I did not know she was not religious and just assumed she was very religious. Little did I know, that was hardly the case…

This is also the 39th strip. There have been some fillers, but 39 actual strips.
