82 - End Of Day

Billy's first day of teaching is mercifully over. This one was originally going to be two strips, but then I realized that the first gag was not quite funny enough to be on it's own. I am not sure the second one is either, but in the end I wanted to draw a hockey player.

The priest will appear again, but won't be a frequent character.

Work has been busy, so only the one strip.I will be at my in-laws this weekend and I usually get a lot of drawing done there. I hope to re-build the back-ups.

I have been really listening to a lot of instrumental post-rock stuff lately. Real atmospheric, not overly heavy. The most well known of these is Explosions In The Sky who did the soundtrack to the movie "Friday Night Lights. I have also been listening to Caspian and Red Sparowes

As for comics you should read I Don't Want To Be The Fat Kid Although it was intended to be a weight loss journal, it has evolved quickly into that, plus a good look into the male mind.
