91 - Only The Names Have Changed

It's the end of an era as today spells the end of Clawhammer Lobotomy Scar. The next few weeks will all be devoted to the band, including their first show with Billy on vocals (I hesitate to call him a singer).

This actually happens all the time. Bands threaten to sue other bands over names. Audioslave had to pay another band to use their name. Rockstar: Supernova was supposed to just be called Supernova originally. My favorite is a Pearl Jame side project called "Brad". They were originally called Shame, but some bar band had that name. The guy preventing them from using the name was named Brad so they named the band "Brad" and the CD was called "Shame". Sadly, the story is better than the disc.

I know a hanful of you who read this strip also do fairly "realistic" strips. I was thinking maybe a cross over of the realistic strips might be fun. Sadly, Billy and the guys don't exactly work real well in things like Civil War or Fightsplosion.

Just a thought.

If anyone cares Billy is wearing a Gojira shirt. They are a really good, though heavy, band from France. Yup, the French can rock believe it or not.
