233 - More Than You Know

First of all thanks for the kind words. My whole intent was that I really am not worried about being featured. It does bum me out when I feel like an inferior (or at least a less original) comic gets featured, but I do this for me and am just glad so many of you come along for the ride.

I sometimes wonder if REBOUND is not quite "geeky" enough and if I added extra video game and Star Wars references if it would get noticed, but I am really not into those things enough to make it a focal point.

My influences are more daily newspaper strips, sitcoms and stand-up comedy rather than other webcomics (though I LOVE the medium and read a ton of them).

In the end I think REBOUND is a solid effort that has gotten better over the past few years. I think the art is better, the storylines more focused and I am always challenging myself (or trying to). My goals this year are to do better backgrounds, become a better colorist and to further work on my drawing. I think with things like the record reviews and who's whos (which I am due to do more of soon) I bring some origianlity to the medium.

In the end the strip entertains me and apparently a few of you as well.
