After an extended delay, Redneck is back for March with Journey into the Sewer (The Adventures of Sewerman) every Monday, Wednesday, Friday!

SAW 2008: After using a Fantastic Four spoof and an Iron Man spoof for my covers, I was thinking it'd be cool to spoof things for every cover. Makes sense, right? Except here's how far skewed my perception of the world was at the time: I thought it'd be cool to spoof the cover to Styx's "Kilroy Was Here" album for issue #2. Not only is that cover far from iconic, and the album inside is basically crap, It did not translate at all as a comic cover, so I scrapped it, mercifully, in favour of this non-spoofy cover teasing the confrontation inside.

This is the first Sewerman cover, other than the Kris Stemmer #1 Variant, to bear the standard "Journey" logo, Redneck emblem, and "Williams & Williams" credit, at least all in this configuration.
