SAW 2008: The general writing process for Sewerman is that Eric and I sit down and talk through the script. At the time we weren't really good at quality control, we just riffed a lot, so while it would've been good to cut the "I am from the future!" line stand and move into a fight or something, we just kept riffing and attempting to stack more dialogue and gags on top of it. So we get "Let me continue"/awkward staring as the next joke, and then more on the next page.
