I've been claiming Regular Guy as a "Sunday Strip" but the reality seems to be I draw it whenever I feel like it and my desire to get the story going and power through a personal creative lull has led me to this Tuesday edition. It's rare that somebody has to explain himself for getting ahead of schedule, but I never keep to a schedule anyway. I don't know if I'll continue at this rate for the rest of the summer or just keep doing it when I feel like. I'm determined to at least keep doing Sundays, so that's when the next upload is. Probably.

The format of the strip - pretty elastic from the start - seems pretty comfortable as a collection of images and one long caption. Kind of like a picture book or something. I don't know if people enjoy it, although I think it's neat to write and draw that way. I don't even know if I'll ever include any actual spoken dialogue.

If you read and enjoy this, feel free to browse the archives of Redneck Comics (http://drunkduck.com/Redneck_Comics,) which updates very frequently (as I have several hundred pages accumulated over the past 6 years) and took a lot more effort than RG does. As I always state, the art is kept deliberately rough, although it looks a lot cleaner since I added Posterizing effect to the process. I still doubt you'll ever see RG in full color.
