Ch2 Prologue: Checking in

Obviously, the next chapter's inciting incident involves the way reality has changed by using the Causality Loop. I went back and forth on what I wanted to happen. We'll see how it bears out.

The the dialogue in the last panel is of course a hint about what has not happened. There is a substantial, very insular transgender webcomic circle I have happened to encounter occasionally over the years. Some are okay, some are really, really terrible. Most are, actually. The Causality Loop seemed like it might've been a flimsy enough premise to go that route and I won't lie, it was considered. I wanted to see if I could actually create a decent story using that (overdone) premise. I decided not only that I couldn't, it is also too early in the comic's existence to try, since fundamentally altering your protagonist's persona assumes the readers know him well enough to care (or alternatively, that it's your comic's entire basis, which it's not.) I don't know whether I'll eventually do it, it seems like a Herculean task just to make it worthwhile.

And so… what is the change? Well I guess we'll have to see next time!
