2-8: Anja gets in over her head

Now we know. Since I de-aged Reg it only made sense to take Anja and tack a few years onto her. In this reality, she's about 40 or so and tasked with a certain level of responsibility as newly-minted part of the Government. I'm pretty ambiguous about it, but a reference to Bloor in an early strip will tell anyone Reg & Co. are Canadians. But there won't be too much parliamentary stuff.

I like having a character like Nolan, who can be very rational and collected and say whatever I want him to for a gag. Apparently he digs older chicks.

This was originally a 3x2 landscape strip like the previous few but I realized how little that would accomplish and how much repeated drawing I'd have to do, so I converted it to this and I like it.

So to recap: Nolan had spoiled yogurt, Reg has to re-live his teenage years, and Anja, despite her lack of qualifications, is a member of the legislation and middle-aged. And who knows what she'll find when she goes home?

Who got the short end of that deal?

Anyway gang, as I say every time, Regular Guy is a strip I do once or twice a week and in order to do so, I keep the art looking relatively sketchy and shabby. I'm not much of an artist so you're not missing anything, and I think this is the best compromise. Thanks, if you've been enjoying it, stay tuned!
