Taking a break from Chapter 2 I decided to do up a few more quick entries into Reg's Lost Years to fill in some gaps of Reg's and Anja's background, (timely, since the last few comics concerned them.) They're quite sloppily drawn, but that's the norm for RG and you love it (or you don't read it. Whichever.)

So here we have Reg & Traci, and Anja & Whatsisface, and when Reg and Anja spot each other they realize they haven't spoken in a long while… you get the picture.

Sountrack time: "Iris" by Goo Goo Dolls, from the soundtrack of "City of Angels." In 1998-99 it was the most omnipresent song ever. At one point the song was going to be "Angel of Mine" by Monica, which I remember hearing at all the dances back then, but then I thought if I'm going to do a slow song it'd be a) one people remember, and b) one that doesn't totally suck. Whether I succeeded in point B depends on your taste.

Of course they're doing the arms-length-rotate dance. Ah, young awkward romance…

We shall return to this scene on Thursday, because… what other comic actually updates on Thursday?
