Pull and Flow, Converging Tides

Can you feel it in the air?
Can you feel it everywhere?
The sound of old blades laid bare.
Can you see the deaths they wear?
Can you hear the cries they share?
The sound of the demons' prayer.
To battle, to blood, to err,
to fight this sordid affair!

That nicely sets the mood of the climax and conclusion of chapter 2, methinks.
