Intermission 2: Page 4: Worksheets

I used to substitute teach and when teachers left worksheets, I knew it was going to be an easy day. I just had to make sure the kids didn't just blow through them. Sometimes they did and I would have to balance keeping the kids who finished early busy or entertained and not rush the kids who were taking their time or whatever.

What was easier is when you sub for like…art or music in elementary because most of the time the teachers don't expect the subs to be able to do anything with the kids on those days and would leave videos. But you can't really do that on the second day of school for kids who are already behind.
