Ch 3: Page 14: Catch a Ride!

I needed a way to segue back into the talent show. It's mostly exposition/Felicity's monologue in the book, but I don't really have that luxury as much in the comic so I wrote a scene that doesn't really exist in the book. But this solves an issue the book has: I kinda downplay Robbie and Felicity's relationship (though, there's a good reason for it) in the book and so I think this comic helps fix it a little. I mean, she tells her class that Robbie is her boyfriend, but you don't really see it beyond the first date. Fortunately, I can add some visual stuff and then there's this scene. I might throw a couple more scenes like this in there. I'm really not that great at writing romantic dialogue or romantic chemistry, but drawing it isn't as hard.
