Ch 3: Page 19: Fighting Mana a Mana

When you get ideas for stories/books/whatever, you'll often have certain scenes that sort of stick in your mind…even when you're still developing ideas and characters. I don't know how long I've had this particular scene in mind, but the fight for the book has been around for me for quite a while. It was cool seeing Voldemort and Harry reenact this scene on the big screen for me. (Felicity and her story has been with me for a long time. Not pre-Harry Potter, but definitely over a decade. The book version may have inspired this for me, though.)

But I think clashing magic has been around for a while. I will say, because it's going to be brought up within this chapter, that the fact that the elf has something similar to Felicity's red mana burst is indicative of something major. The fact that she can repel it is also indicative of something major as well.
