I pictured the necklace more elaborate, which would've made Felicity's complaint more legit, but I also had to consider how much I wanted to redraw every single time I showed her during this conversation. I just settled for something noticeably big.

Felicity's earrings actually had nothing to do with this scene when I was designing her. I got to this scene and was thrilled that I had something already on Felicity that I could have Autra transfer the spell into. Happy accident. I just gave Felicity the earrings because I saw the 13th Doctor with earrings in different parts of her ears and realized I liked that look on women and it made Felicity look less preppy. She is…it's just a contrast to her preppy style.
