Intermission 3: Page 8: Pillow Talk

Alright, so…full confession: this comic has gone through a couple of different iterations. I had them doing the dishes at first, but I figured I would rather get away from the dinner setting and just put them in bed.

And I drew them both fairly naked (couldn't see anything, this is still a PG-13 comic) as I wanted to show that they were still in love and intimate despite their hardship and the fact they have a teenage daughter. Whatever. (Plus, I'm a single, straight male, but let's ignore that.)

When it came to the last panel, I felt really icky have the couple in their mid to late 30s with the teenage girl in their bed…even if she is a hallucination of the woman by the woman. So the nightgown is a bit of a compromise. (I also drew the elastic waist band of boxers on Robbie on one panel…can't really tell.)

Originally, teenage Felicity was supposed to just be standing there next to adult Felicity, who had a dish and towel in her hand. I didn't think this through when I changed the location.
