Intermission 3: Page 10: Family Matters

I realized at some point that I never gave Robert a last name…not that I could remember. Felicity, of course, doesn't take his last name and I did that mostly so I didn't have to reveal whether or not she was married or who she was when I first started the comic.

But I got to think about it and I think if she could protect her loved ones from being harassed about her, she would. Outside of her and her mom being famous, the fame would bring more business to her dad's potion shop, so that's always a plus.

This comic exists because I wanted her to have this conversation a lot earlier than in the book…and give one of her students a little more screen time. Plus, there are certain times that if I have an idea and I don't write it down, it kinda gnaws at the back of my mind until I do.
