It's true, though. I just started college, and while I am still living at home, wth no source of income, I can never move out. I've applied to a ton of places, had a couple of interviews, and got no luck. And if I want to go on trips abroad, or if I want to study abroad somewhere, my parents tell me I -have- to use my own money. I've been saving for a while and have a debit account, but now I have no money to add, and I am getting really stressed out.
I refuse to stay in this damn city forever. I've been here for 18.5 years. So, I had a commission from an old teacher to do $75 worth of a mural on her bedroom wall, and I figured maybe I could do something like this online for an occasional $10 here and there… Am I good enough for artist commissions? Maybe someday if this manga gets a good fan base I can make merchandise and sell volumes out. But for now, I want to know what else I can do as an artist for money online. You guys are all fellow artists…Do you have any ideas for me?
