#11 - Focus on the Important Things

I'm starting to sympathize with the people who do this for a living… coming up with an idea, making it funny, executing it well (and I honestly can't claim to always land any more than the first item) isn't easy.

I came up with a few different scenarios for this interview, though, so I think I'll use them next. Creativity across a spectrum of themes, be damned!

One resolution, though. I went to this simple art style because I thought I could make simple look good. I notice that in several instances I've been ratcheting up the complexity of these strips. This is fine if the characters still look smooth and crisp, but I would be the first to say that I'm starting to get a bit messy. I'm going to slow down and start making each panel look as I want it too.

Debate tonight! (I have an idea or two about that as well.)
