I was very beside myself on this page. Originally there was no text or sound effects, but it looked too bare. I added a little talking in the first panel and a sound effect in the last, but it still looked bare. I tried to put more sound effects in, but alas, I didn't have enough space. All attempts turned the bare page into a crowded mess!


It's that time again, folks! Usually I use my bonus rant to comment on some of the underdogs here on Drunk Duck, but today I thought I would bring you something a little different. It's a little tidbit from the news. It's a little old, but I want to make sure everyone of you know this.

I'm sure many of you know Daniel Radcliffe from his Harry Potter fame. Well, little Danny is taking a break from the big screen to perform on the stage in an upcoming production of Equus, a play about a stable hand who brutally blinds a stable of horses with a pole.

So why is this noteworthy of the bonus rant?

Well, you see, the character he is to play has a scene in which is is to be fully nude and performing sexually explicit acts through the simulation of riding a horse! He has to wave his phoenix tailed wand around on stage in front of hundreds of people!

It's so weird seeing him go from a children's movie star to something like this so quickly. Equus is a really good play, and I'm personally glad he accepted the role. There's no better way to break away from typecasting of children's movies like saying, "Hey world! Look at my Wang!"
