The Taste of Pantone

Happy Friday everyone! The week has flown by, but it's been a pretty busy one. I am living vicariously through this strip. The last movie I saw was Terminator and I really could use another escape to the theater right now.

We haven't seen a lot of Michele as of late and I really wanted to draw her and I thought it would be cool to kind of touch on what kind of relationship these two characters have. They aren't exactly dating, but they have known each other for a long time so things aren't as touchy with them as maybe a young relationship is - note the way Thomas pretty much wasn't even listening to Michele in panel 1, but Michele didn't come down on him for it :)

Early in my career I worked for a few of the bigger screenprinting shops in Texas and California. I started in the ink departments and worked as an ink mixer for several years. The Pantone color system is pretty much the standard color system not only in screenprinting, but in design overall. I see color like The Matrix now, I don't see the color - I just see the numbers :)
