Issue Seven page 1--Welcome to Brattleboro...

First off, my apologies for not posting yesterday on schedule…yesterday was the most bizzare and weirdly out-of sync day I have experienced in many a moon… I woke up yesterday, firm in my belief that it was Saturday. I was regretful that I wouldn't be posting RW–cause I really enjoy my posting days…but it was Saturday. Half day at work–no time clock to worry about (on Saturdays I go in when I feel–usually half an hour or an hour later than normal…) and so on. On Saturdays I take the car instead of my bike! So there I am, driving off to work, and low, the street is full of people…weird. Then at the end of the street a school crossing gaurd steps out with a stop sign to let a girl cross. I think, 'How odd…why is there a school crossing gaurd out on Saturday?!?' I get about another hundred feet up the road when it hits me. It's not Saturday at all, it's Friday…I'm late for work and worse…I FORGOT TO POST MY PAGE ON DRUNKDUCK!!!!
Whew…I gotta get my time machine re-alligned…
Anyway, page one. This Book is going to start out a bit differently–with a little travelogue about Brattleboro leading up to a man and his bridge and his lack of flying lessons… Should be fun, and yes, there will be girls! Oh yeah, and it really is germaine to the Robot Wars plotline–with some scary hints about Jess' genetic background…
