Issue Eight page 19--Revising the official story...

Toby finally 'gets it' and now you get to hear the 'Official Corporate Line' regarding the kidnapping of Jennifer…surprising how words can spin in most any direction!!!

Also, much conversation has been going on concerning Mr. Tolliver's display of power and abuse of his employees…the sad fact is…this is such a common occurrence it is scary. Even ordinary folks do it without thinking… Everyone on some level wants to have a bit of power and the sense of 'entitlement' that comes with it. I have a co-worker…thinks nothing of sending his food back to the kitchen two or three times–every time! at restaurants (too salty, not warm enough ect…) His justification? I'm paying for it…I'm 'entitled' to get it the exact way I want! Really, its all about exerting power over the helpless waitress/waiter and cooks. Then there is the 'entitlement' on absurd scale as a bunch of CEO's of bankrupted comp1anies feel 'entitled' to spend millions of taxpayer bailout monies on a 'Retreat/Spa' because they 'deserved it'
Tolliver has no concern for the 'feelings' of others…Toby's yearning or Susan's humiliation. Tolliver figures, "I pay for 'dictation' from Susan, and I'm entitled to get it when and how I want!"
Well…someday real soon…that idea is going to backfire on him really bad…hope it hurts…a lot! I'm entitled, after all!!!
