Issue Nine page 6--Cannonball explosion!!!

Well, I'm back from NYC…still all in one piece. Saw a lot, learned a lot, and meet a bunch of Drunk Duck Comic Creators. I even got dissed once or twice…but not by DD'ers. I posted pics of the event on the 'Conventions' Forum Thread along with a little bit about my adventures there with my daughter!

There were so many excellent comics being published out there…it kind of made me depressed a little. How is my one little story supposed to compete in all of that!!! Call it a crisis in 'faith' if you will. The only saving grace is the fact that there were sooo few CGI comics on the stands, and I believe there is a huge market for my type of work. I showed my comic to a few people…and one fellow asked me how I got someone to pose like the robot (Tinker) because he thought they were live action photos!!! So, yeah, maybe! Lots of work to do though. I discovered how woefully unprepared I was to break in…and spotted a lot of cool ideas to help me make a splash when I try!

So now, its back to the 'real world' of Robot Wars, and the everyday grind of 'making that page!' Thanks for reading!
