Issue Nine page 8--Let's play...

Funny how you can feel both elated and let down. This page is one of the minor humor gaffs which lead into the punchline of this vignette, and I have had it in mind for a long time. Seeing it complete is cool, but now that it is finished, it is as if a part of my mind has been emptied with nothing new yet to fill it. Weird. Actually, the Robot Wars story grows apace in my mind. I am many issues ahead in my planning. I know where the plot is going, right up to the end (some forty-one issues away) and so I am always filling the 'story space' in my mind with new…but this little touch has been with me so long it's like letting go of a bit of me…
