Did you ever wonder why Jace didn't use the com-link to chat with Crow and Futurella when they were trapped in the mermaid's cave? Jace had used the link when they were underwater, but she didn't really know how to use it, and had probably forgot all about it. Jace may have her own Go-suit, but they never taught her how to use it.

Pity. It would come in awfully handy soon. Oh well - Jace will have to struggle along!
