When I started this comic, one of my dreams was of the two towns - Trident Beach and Santa Mira, connected by Highway 32. If you've ever seen movies like "The Monolith Monsters" or "Tarantula" or "Invasion of the Body Snatchers" or "Them" then you know just the place I mean.

The Bus I've drawn here isn't quite a modern bus, and not quite a classic old greyhound bus from the 50s - I guess it's somewhere in-between. We are, i guess, a bit outside of time.

Now all I have to do is draw the desert - a place i have never been.
