King's Drama - the story we're skipping

I'd been sort of hoping I'd be able to fix this problem, but unfortunately, there just hasn't been the time, what with my day job. I couldn't take on another large project besides the ones I'm already involved in.

Here's the skinny: Back in the day, I made 3 long Rovers van Clwyd-Rhan stories, in Dutch, that for all their faults, I still like. They work at some level. The fourth, which took me a year to complete, did not. I can't re-read it without cringing at how bad it is. So I never published it on ROCR.net, and I never will. BUT… several important things happened in that story. King Groy and the Duke of Dungill Fens both became indebted to the Rogues, so they began to lose their outlaw statys. Kel ditched her first boyfriend Jack, and replaced him with the King's former Jester, Jodoque. Duchess Gudrun was introduced as well, and a glimpse of the Witch Queen could be caught. Jodoque and Gudrun became important characters in subsequent stories, so it bothered me that in the archives as they exist now, they will appear to have shown up out of thin air.

So my big plan was to rewrite and redraw that story so that it delivered those changes but was actually good. There is a lot of script ready for the new King Groy story, but it'll be a while before it'll see the light of day. Not until after Feral and Invasion are both finished over on ROCR.net. Hopefully, by then, Drunk Duck will have the capacity to move story blocks over in the archives.

Tomorrow, we will see Jodoque as Kel's boyfriend, and soon after, we will see Gudrun make an appearance. This missing story is where they came from. Sorry.
