What could happen?

Has enyone out there in gaming land ever left a drinking establishment the same way you entered? I actually keep my players away from taverns and bars or as some people call them "Quest Generator".

In my game there is no "Shadow man" in the corner giving out quests like it was Halloween. We as GMs need to be more creative in starting our campaigns. I've actually started new characters off with this line; You find yourself on the ground bleeding from your nose. The guy who hit you is desparately trying to run away…and the fun begins!

BTW: I appologize that there was no strip last week. I was helping my civilian job office move all week…or I was abducted by packing fearies and transported to the land of Pain.
