I read, over on Pharyngula, story, or more rather, a summary of a talk by Philip Ward at the Darwin/Chicago 2009 Conference, which seems to be at a ley line (pardon the mystical pun) of Darwinian influence.
You should read it, too.
It inspired me, to put it lightly. Just read a few paragraphs in, and then read some more.
And if you need to know what a cargo cult is, you can just google it.
