It was very recently, only today in fact, that I got around to reading the speech by Archbishop Joachim on All Saints Day, that day after Halloween when fearful theists have to remind themselves that they all made it through another pagan holy day still as close-minded as ever. The Archbishop's sermon is no different, or even less spiteful.

In it, he makes several ghastly claims, like relating science to atheism, saying cloning is against god and comparing the advances that lead us to cloning to the advances of the National Socialist party and communism, calling Richard Dawkins a Nazi, and admitting that the Church likes its palaces and fancy robes so much it's only giving out a few tables' worth of food to the poor to have a show of piety.

I think I'll be taking a lot of inspiration from this sermon for the next week or so. I can't afford not to.
