Filler Strip #5 - Drowning in Paperwork

I am a slacker. Actually, I'm not. Last week I got around to only doing one storyline strip, but I was legitimately busy (I swear!) Lack of time is attributed to (but not limited to) the following:

* Lots of OT at work, mostly through lunch, which is my key drawing time
* In-laws down visiting, so lotsa entertaining
* Hand decorating about 30 RSVP cards (for my upcoming wedding reception) for the invitations going to all the British guests, as Peter's uncle David was visiting from across the pond, and is stamping and mailing them all out for us :D Maybe I'll post a pic on Friday of my magnificent art work. I do some kick ass pumpkins and leaves :P

SO, back to the regular storyline on Monday, I swear.

OH, and as promised, more of my favorite Carlinisms…

* "Do you think any country could really have a civil war? Say, pardon me [gun shots]Im awfully sorry. Im awfully sorry.

* "Have you noticed that most of the people who are against abortion are people you wouldn't want to fuck in the first place?"

* "Don't you think it's just a little bit strange that Ronald Reagan had an operation on his asshole and George Bush had an operation on his middle finger. Huh? Huh? What are these two men trying to tell us?"

* "You never a Rolls Royce with a bumper sticker that says 'Shit happens.'"

* "Have you ever been in a serious social situation, when you suddenly realize you have to pull the underwear out of the crack in your ass? 'You take this woman to be your lawful wedded wife?' 'Huh? Who her? Oh, hell yeah.' Well, it's one life's little moments, isn't it? It's one of those little moments you have to deal with at the time. You've got to get in there and clear that thing out. You've got to rescue your underwear. There's a letter in your mailbox."

* "Tonight's forecast………..dark, continued mostly dark throughout the evening with widely scattered light in the morning.
Temperature at the airport is 73……which is stupid 'cause I don't know anyone that lives at the airport…"
